Laxmi pooja in this Diwali Festival should be performed during the Pradosha kaala which begins after sunset and stays until approximately 1 hour 29 minutes. In some stotras, Mahanisheetha kaala is prescribed for the Lakshmi Puja. As per the scriptures, Mahanisheeth Kaal is a favorable time for tantrics and pundits who are well versed in the subject. For common people, Pradosha kaala muhurta is most favorable along with a Sthira lagna. Worshiping the goddess of wealth and prosperity, Mother Lakshmi along with god of intelligence and remover of obstacles, Lord Ganesha would ensure the stability of wisdom and wealth.
