This period is said to be one of the most hardship periods in any one’s horoscope, tribulations, and trails. 5. What is Manglik?
A mangal dosh is present when Mars is located in the houses 1, 4, 7, 8, or 12 from the lagna as well as the Moon in a given chart. But the North-Indian Astrologers do not go by this view and I also strongly believe on the basis of empirical studies and the teachings of my Guru that Mars placed in the second house does not give Mangal Dosh. The effect of mangal or Kuja dosh is to cause the person to be somehow victimized in his marriage.
